Huge congratulations to both Graham Joel and Richard Flaherty, who won the Category III and IV Championships respectively at Bulbury Woods yesterday! Graham strode to a two shot victory with an excellent nett 70, while Richard brought home the trophy with a hard-fought nett 74 to win by a single stroke. Well done both!
Even a hint of praise from the County Secretary… “a great double for one of our smaller clubs.”

For those wondering how Andrew got on in the category II Championship at Parkstone, the golf course was fantastic, and everything one can imagine it would be. Sadly, the greens were too good for him, with a total of 37 putts leaving him in a solid 7th place.
